  This is backside of Namdaemun Gate (남대문), one of the Eight Gates of Seoul. As per Wikipedia: Officially known as the Sungnyemun, is one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korea, which surrounded the city in the Joseon dynasty. The gate is located in Jung-gu between Seoul Station and Seoul Plaza, with the historic 24-hour Namdaemun market next to the gate.   Built in 1668 as one of the original 10 old city gates of Leiden city, the Morspoort, or Marsh Gate, is only one of 2 that exist today. It still looks identical to this print, but the fence to the right no longer stands. Nowadays, traffic - except pedestrians and bicyclists - is directed around the gate. The Morspoort used to be called Gallows Gate since its road lead the the gallow field but it was renamed shortly after to Morspoort because of the nearby marshes.
