Charles A. Levine (1897-1991), one of the more interesting characters involved in aviation in the late-1920s. He owned the aircraft (Wright-Bellanca WB-2, named "Miss Columbia") and employed a pilot (Clarence Chamberlain) that had the ability to best and beat Lindbergh and his Ryan NYP "Spirit of St. Louis" in successfully completing the first non-stop heavier-than-air flight between New York and Paris, but ego and fate would intervene...
