    Douglas C-53D-DO Skytrooper 42-68834 (c/n 11761), to Eastern Air Lines in 1946 as NC86562. Many owners and several regs. In 1997 it was still flying on floats, reportedly since removed. Good aerial shot here and more pictures here.

Returned to US 07Nov45. To RFC Dec 28, 1945. To civilian registry as NC25656 (Delta Airlines May 10, 1946 to Aug 31, 1962, then various private owners until crashed Dec 5, 1978 near Lorda, FL. Rebuilt and registered Aug 1983 as N25656 to Okeechobee County Sheriff's Department. Cancelled on 27 September 2011.
