Clearly the date range must be 1914-16.

"He was a 'doer' more than a writer". A couple of lovely photos of Seán MacDiarmada here in our Googley exhibition on the Signatories of the Proclamation. He looks so different with a beard.

The buttons, being on his left, would indicate that this photograph is reversed.

The webified version of the 1911 census does a very poor job of transcribing what the Gaeilgeors in the house wrote on the Census Form.

Padraic O Riain was one of the founders of Fianna Éireann. Don’t know much about him.

Bernard Healy Madame would be Constance Markievicz. She and Bulmer Hobson were the main names behind the foundation of the Fianna. Bodenstown is the site of Wolfe Tone’s grave & an annual commemoration.

Google Maps show it to be a 7hr walk from GPO to Bodenstown cemetery. Long day if there and back in a day. Shared route From An Post, General Post Office to Bodenstown Graveyard. maps.app.goo.gl/kTLoVFhYJP3UQnPT9
