My maternal grandmother was a Canungra Franklin. She was the daughter of Henry William Franklin whose half-brother was George. George was a baby when he and his father Henry Franklin emigrated from Lincolnshire to Queensland aboard the "Parsee" in 1853. My mother was born at Wonglepong, previously Coburn, Lower Canungra.
