I am sure I had an air fix kit of this exact plane when I was a kid. It definitely sparks a memory.

This was my Dads airplane, they flew against targets in New Guine and spotted the Japanese invasion fleet that lead to the battle of the Bismarck Sea; winning the Silver Star and DFC. In 1990 I hosted the remaining members of the Jolly Rodgers in Indianapolis as a City County Councilman and we dedicated a Plaque to the 90 Bomb Group at the Air Force Museum in Dayton OH. I got to hear many of the stories of them flying out or NE Australia, my brother and I were named after to of his best friends killed during those missions Rolfes & Kirby.
