There are a few mentions of a C. D. W. Archer in the London Gazette:
6 March 1900, p. 1531: "War Office, 6th March, 1900. HONOURABLE ARTILLERY COMPANY OF LONDON. The undermentioned Second Lieutenants to be Lieutenants :-- [...] C. D. W. Archer. Dated 7th March, 1900."
9 September 1904, p. 5846: "War Office, 9th September, 1904. HONOURABLE ARTILLERY COMPANY OF LONDON [...] Lieutenant C. D. W. Archer resigns his Commission and retires into the Veteran Company. Dated 10th September, 1904."

Crew not listed in my source. Span listed as 42 ft. Length:33 ft., 11 in.. Height: 9 ft., 10 in. Gross weight: 6,500 lbs. Maximum speed: "over 250 mph." Range: 1,000 miles. Powered by Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp Junior of 750 hp. Bomb load: 1,000 lbs. Armament consisted of four fixed machine guns ( cal. not specified) in the wing roots, and one "movable" aft-facing machine gun in the rear cockpit.
