  The Cooke house is still standing at 2566 NW Lovejoy Street, though it's been divided up into at least five apartments. Mrs. J.P. Cooke was an award-winning gardener (see oregonnews.uoregon.edu/lccn/sn83025138/1922-06-21/ed-1/se...) when she lived here, though the address at the time was 215 North 25th Street before the great Portland renumbering. The area just east of her home where her rose gardens once stood was turned into a large apartment building circa 1950. The houses to the north of the Cooke house are long gone. Two of the center-right homes pictured in the background are still standing at 2626 NW Cornell Road and 2636 NW Cornell Road.
