Convair turbo prop

    I believe this aircraft was called "The Pogo" or "Pogo Stick" and for obvious reason. Back in the sixtties there was a plastic model kit of this plane. I did some quick research and this is in fact the Convair XFY-1 Pogo Stick which was tested and flown in 54 and 55. Mitch

    Revell did the model I made one - for those that don't know this was one of the first vertical take off successful planes ever (leaving aside helicopters, this one tilted after take off and then flew reasonably fast like a fighter,) How the hell he ever tail landed it is a mystery though....
