    Sikorsky HRS-1, Bureau Number 127840 was delivered in late 1951 and served with HMR-162 at MCAF Santa Ana, California until being shipped to Korea where it joined HMR-161 in March 1952 and is seen here wearing the squadron modex, HR-14. It served with 161 until late 1954 when it was returned to the US for overhaul. It spent the remainder of its active career at Santa Ana before being retired in August 1957 as a Ground Instructional Aircraft at NAS Memphis to help new mechanics learn their trade.
