    This is Admiralty Floating Dock AFD4 - the Medway Dock, Launched on the 4th of January 1912. The dock had a lifting capacity of 32,000 tons, designed for servicing battleships. The dock served also served at Jarrow, Portland, Devonport and on the Clyde. In 1946 it was used to raise and beak up some of the ships of the German Fleet that scuttled at Scapa Flow.. In 1948 it was sold to Rotterdam Dockyard. Last known to be in use at Bergen in 2008.
