Also participating in this January 1972 ceremony were (left to right) Rev John Oyer, hospital chaplain; Lloyd King, building superintendent; Rocky Ford mayor-elect Keith Records; Vernon Rhoades, president of the hospital and nursing home board;Kenneth Schmidt, hospital and nursing home administrator; and Frank Holder, member of hospital board's building committee. The hospital and nursing home are administered by Mennonite Board of Missions, Elkhart, IN, through its Health and Welfare division.
