This is gorgeous! And this is the vista I used to get so often when I took a walk at lunch time when I worked at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology just few blocks away. (70-80 years later)

Thanks Mirla Elizabeth. One of the reasons I picked these panoramas is that they have such specific locations, especially the urban scenes. Nice to know they're ringing bells for people. cheers, Courtney

Posting these panorama's at 700 pixels wide makes little sense. No way anyone can appreciate the quality that way. Pity!

Hi Dan I'm definitely hearing the feedback on the panoramas. If you follow the 'Find out more' link on each of the descriptions, you'll get to a zoomable version of the image, which means you can see heaps more detail. We've only just launched these zoomable images (since we loaded these images to The Commons) - I'll be rewriting all those link texts to tell people about them asap. cheers, Courtney

Hey Courtney, That really does the trick! These images have so much detail.. Thanks for the tip! Dan.
