Just beyond the fourth overcrossing there's a cluster of three guide signs. The closest one is very blurry but looks like, "Imperial Avenue." Also, the freeway route is straight. This suggests we're looking at the San Diego Freeway southboundfrom somewhere near B Street or C Street in San Diego. That would make the pairs of columns/pillars in the background the Coronado Bridge. Corrections or other suggestions welcomed.

In Downtown San Diego, looking south on Interstate 5 from about Broadway. The pillars in the foreground are the supports for the SB 5 > EB 94 ramp, and the columns in the very back of the photo are for the Coronado Bridge.

This is probably shot from near Grape Street or Hawthorne Street. Your corrections are welcomed.

    Sorry about the following TMI.

This may be southbound San Diego Freeway/Montgomery Freeway. There used to be a pedestrian bridge from Balboa Park on the east side of the freeway to Balboa Stadium on the west side. This photo looks like it was shot from that bridge.

The guide sign above the onramp traffic appears to say, "Zoo, Balboa Park, USE US395 NORTH." The Wikipedia article on U.S.395 says it ended in San Diego until 1964. I think the date in the Wikipedia article may be off by 2-3 years. At bottom left of frame is a green 1967 Ford Mustang. This suggests the photo was taken in late 1966 or later. The green car at the right edge of frame appears to be a 1968 Pontiac Le Mans. Example:

Feel free to post corrections or data points.

This is the I-5 looking northbound from about B Street in downtown San Diego. The old Balboa Naval Hospital is straight ahead.

That pedestrian bridge is still there, but a bit north from where this photo was taken. Just out of view as the northbound freeway curves west into the "downtown S-curve."

This may have been shot from the Cesar Chavez Parkway overcrossing. Corrections are welcomed.

Dari Fresh Milk Farms was headquartered at 3120 Bonita Road in Chula Vista. They also had retail stores.

So Cal Metro commented about a Jersey Maid tractor trailer rig in one photo. There's a Dari Fresh Milk truck here.

When I was a kid, people used to say I looked like the milk man. 😄
