USS Princeton VS-21 ‘Fighting Red Tails’ Grumman S2F-1 Tracker (BuNo unknown) unit code BS and side number 6. First S2F to trap aboard the USS Shangri-La, April 16, 1956. Note the APA-69 bi-pole ECM direction finder antenna mounted over and just to the rear of the cockpit. It is in the overall glossy sea blue paint scheme that was applied on early production aircraft up to 1957.

Grumman TS-2A Tracker BuNo 136514. Civilian Registration N403DF. Operated for California Division of Forestry as air tanker number 71. Flown under contract by Hemet Valley Flying Services CA. Stored until 1973 when converted to tanker by HVFS with CDF prototype tank design. Retired to Hemet by 1987, stripped for parts and scrapped by 1987.
