    Gladstone Harbour is a locality in the Gladstone Region, Queensland, Australia. There are three towns in Gladstone Harbour, all on Facing Island: Northcliffe, Farmers Point and Gatcombe. Facing Island was named on 6 August 1802 by Matthew Flinders on his voyage on HMS Investigator (1801) to map the coastline of New Holland (as the continent of Australia was then called). The town of Northcliffe first appears on 1912 survey plan N6211. The town of Farmers Point was named on 1 December 1961,[4] but the name of the point itself first appeared on 1901 survey plan N6211.
