Roedd SARAH JANE REES (‘Cranogwen’; 1839 - 1916 ) yn ysgolfeistres, bardd, golygydd, a sefydlydd ‘Merched y De’. Fe'i ganwyd 9 Ionawr 1839 yn Llangrannog, sir Aberteifi, yn ferch i gapten llong. Ceir rhagor o wybodaeth am Cranogwen ar Y Bywgraffiadur Arlein SARAH JANE REES ('Cranogwen'; 1839 - 1916 ), was a schoolmistress, poet, editor and temperance advocate. She was born 9 Jan. 1839 at Llangrannog, Cards., the daughter of a master mariner. More information about Cranogwen can be found on the Welsh Biography Online
