  Could it be near Avoca and would that be the Avoca River? There are old mine workings there.

  Here is Jane Byrne, shopkeeper, 56, of Templehusk, Ovoca, Wicklow. Oddly, in 1911 she's 75, while her nephew Martin has mutated into her brother and lost 3 years!
