    Prussian-born Nernst (1864-1941) won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1920): nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/chemistry/laureates/1920/nern... Here he is as an older man: Given the later portrait, it seems unlikely this image was made in 1941.
