  George McAneny: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_McAneny Abraham Jacobi: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Jacobi Jacobi was a pioneer in pediatrics, president of the New York State Medical Society, and the New York Academy of Medicine, etc. His first wife's nephew was ethnologist Franz Boas. His second wife was Dr. Mary Putnam Jacobi, a medical pioneer in her own right: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Corinna_Putnam_Jacobi Abraham and Mary's only surviving child, Marjorie Jacobi, married George McAneny, which would explain the connection between the men in this photo.
