  Boyne Hill House now a wedding venue. www.boynehillhouse.ie www.navanhistory.ie It was owned by the Sullivan-MacNamee family from the US in the 60s/70s and they raised race horses. The tree lined southern entrance (near Cannistown) featured beautiful wrought iron gates.

  • Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Gerrard: In the mid-to-late 19th century, the house was the primary residence of Lt. Col. Gerrard. His demesne occupied almost the entire surrounding townland, and under his ownership, the estate was renowned for hosting grand, lavish social gatherings.
  • Edward Sclater: By the turn of the century, the property passed to Edward Sclater, a prominent local land agent and magistrate. According to the 1901 Census of Ireland, Sclater lived in the main house alongside his family and a dedicated team of domestic staff.
