the rock is sacred because of the "Hebrew occupation of Palestine". Palestine was the Land that the "Hebrews" lived in hundreds of years before the birth of Islam. The Palestinians are a ficticious People, usually refering to Arabs who were living in Israel under Ottoman rule, British rule, Joranian rule, Egyptian rule and Israel rule. There were thousands of Jews living in Israel under the same situations, with Palestine written on their passports, so what do we call them? Somehow the Palestinian cause only crept up when under Israel rule. Interesting, No?
