This aircraft is the Germany's first effort a making a Bomber, though very late in the game. The German's were in production of the Me-262A-1a JF(2) (= Jet Fighter (2) Engines). So around 1944, when Hitler finally concluded that he needed fast bomber they simple grabbed A-1a, changed to A-1b rework it to a (2) rack points for Bombs off center line and (2) under wing rocket launchers (12 Rkts each). There are pictures of this AC w & w-o the equipment that was added the Work Nummer (WN) was 111711 A-1b Jabo w fn White 23 and Black tn 111711. When captured or found after hostilities ceased, by the US, all German were or had been removed. The US then Mark the Tail w Black 711 Captured If my memory serves....it was crashed - total loss during testing in the US.
