Messerschmitt Bf-109B1 piloted by Unteroffizier Otto Polenz, belonging to Jagdgruppe 88 (1.J / 88) of the Condor Legion. On December 4, 1937, after making an emergency landing on the road between Azila and Escatrón, where he is captured intact. After the marks of the rebels were removed, red bands were added and the tail rudder also painted red. The plane was sent to France and subsequently to the USSR for evaluation and study. avgce.blogspot.com/2015/04/

Wrong information. This plane is a Hispano- Aviación HA1112 M1L "Buchón", belonging to Ala 47 of the Spanish Air Force, based in Tablada, (Seville), in 1965.
