This is a photo of O.R. McNeel, Douglas Corrigan (later to be known as "Wrong Way" Corrigan), Bert Tindale, Hawley Bowlus, and Shirley Morrison at Ryan along with the Ryan NYP "Spirit of St. Louis," during construction. See also:

Lindbergh wrote about meeting these men when he came to San Diego to discuss building this plane in his book We and The Spirit of St. Louis. BF Mahoney had already purchased Ryan Aircraft and Ryan himself had little to do with the building of the Spirit of St Louis. BF had kept the name of the company as Ryan Aircraft leading to some confusion. see link: www.charleslindbergh.com/plane/mahoney.asp
