  Before the formal opening of a gorsedd the presiding bard stood on the central stone to deliver his address in Welsh. I wonder if the large stone that is lying on the floor in the centre of the image was meant to represent such a "Logan Stone" for the start of this gorsedd?

  Bhas & Nessie I spoke today with one of Edward’s descendants now living in Canada, Frances Riley Roberts. The Woods and Roberts dominated the Welsh harp and music culture for over a century and played before royalty on a number of occasions. Frances’ family stories and recollections will be part of a Romani and Traveller heritage project for CADW, the Welsh heritage agency.
