This is not a "home," as captioned. This is a photo of the First Chinese Church of Christ located at 1054 S. King St. in Honolulu. It was designed by famed architect Hart Wood, and built in 1929. Here's a more recent (2009) photo, from Flickr user toranosuke:

Looking up Fort St across Hotel St. The Hub and Kress were still there in the 70's. A McDonald's went into the Hub's building.
