My Father's sister in the foreground, Ida Phillips, later married Joe Hindwood and lived in cottage below, (-151) with her Family in Sydney St Willoughby, N.S.W." —Neville Phillips

  Ah. The mysteries of the Phillips family are being unlocked at last! Neville Phillips was the brother of Raymond W. D. Phillips, and they were both sons of Arthur Phillips. Their Uncle was Arthur's brother, Harry Phillips: flickr.com/photos/26602074@N06/sets/72157613292686114/ The curators at the Powerhouse Museum have been hard at work unearthing more information about this collection.

  After some research our Photo Librarian, Kathy Hackett, has revealed that the Blue Mountains Harry Phillips was born in Ballarat in 1873 and the brother of Arthur Phillips, also Harry, was born in Sydney in 1872.
