In 1883 the licensee, Jeremiah Murphey, was found guilty of providing liquor at prohibited hours. The case revolved around the question of whether the Keefes, his customers, lived inside or outside the 4-mile limit which would entitle them to buy drinks as "bona fide travellers". The judge fined him £1 but advised him to appeal "because there are so many points in the case". beachcomber australia Just out of frame, I think, but look at the ramp/steps in the Mason - I think a concrete job has been done to make it permanent in the Frith. I think the Mason is earlier.
