Where was the photo taken and when? This aircraft crashed on 13 August 1991 in the Retezat mountains while conducting a repositioning flight and bringing aircraft mechanics from Otopeni to Timișoara to fix another aircraft. The official version says that the pilots got lost because they failed to follow the instruments, but the accident took place in unclear circumstances. Theres theorists who say that a couple of UFOs (that were spotted on 3 August 1991) made a runway-like formation or that the aircraft was intentionally sabotaged (the relatives of the dead were harassed with phone calls after the crash).
