Upended in the Pacific Ocean with emergency flotation bags deployed. July 1970 – July 1970 SH-3A CVS-14 USS Ticonderoga with CVSG-53 Coded NS-50x - off the California coast Aug 1970 – Aug 1970 SH-3A CVS-14 USS Ticonderoga with CVSG-53 Coded NS-50x - off the California coast After that HS-6 it served with CVW-7 aboard CVA-62 USS Independence in the Mediterranean. Sept 1971-March 1972.
