    Seems the "10/11" might refer to October 11. Perhaps this was just before the naval review in New York on 14 October 1912, where a couple of other photos of warships from the Bain collection were taken. Perhaps! (Another commenter on this series mentioned a similar review in October 1911.)

    Its nice to see this nice home for this photo- I took this image in April 1972 -timed exposure on a foggy night about 3AM, while on duty. Just before I left for the 8th SOS to support the A-37s at Bien Hoa AFB RVN in May 1972. All of these planes in the image were sent to RVN in late 1972, before the peace treaty in was signed. The planes flew from Florida all the way to RVN Nha Trang AFB RVN. I was in the lead C-130 along with the rest of support group. Dwayne Meyer
