Suck Diesel That's a good history; at about 1:02 it shows a Lawrence (Eblana) photo of the dedication (?) in 1903 - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000561962 Mr French / Lawrence was there earlier - the grotto mural is incomplete and there is a wooden criss-cross fence around it - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000320103 . So when was the fence replaced? Before the 1916 spire at least ...

The earlier French / Lawrence photo was taken at exactly the same position as this Eason unidentified photographer one. This is set up beside the house on the right in this photo with the one story entrance. (The grotto is visible at the end of the road.) The small extension is gone now. Streetview.
