Here is a British Pathe newsreel clip of Art Goebel piloting an aircraft with a couple of female wing walkers aboard. We get a good look at Goebel at the 8-second mark of the footage. Goebel would famously pilot the winning entry "Woolaroc," in the treacherous 1927 Dole Air Race from Oakland to Honolulu. The "Woolaroc" in her final mutation: an (unsuccessful) attempt at a speed record. The cockpit had been moved aft (a la "Spirit of Saint Louis") to accommodate a center-of-gravity shift with a larger engine installation.
