Hér hóf Marteinn Einarsson verslunarrekstur 16. apríl 1912, en hann verslaði með vefnaðarvöru og fatnað. Verslunin flutti að Laugavegi 29 árið 1918 og síðan í nýbyggingu að Laugavegi 31 (Kirkjuhúsið) árið 1928 þar sem verslunin starfaði fram á sjöunda áratug síðustu aldar. Snorri Marteinsson
