Probably Fokker F.VIIa-3m NC2195/NC3908 c/n 602 manufactured in the Netherlands as Dutch Fokker c/n 4955. It was shipped to the US on May 15, 1926, where it received the new c/n 602 and registered NC2195 and was used by Continental Motors as an engine test bed and executive transport. Following a crash on July 7, 1927, it was rebuilt at the Atlantic Factory using parts from Fokker C-2 NC55 (c/n 1) and re-registered NC3908 and sold to Western Air Express on February 2, 1928. It was finally wrecked in a non-fatal accident on September 20, 1929 at Saugus, CA.

The picture shows a Fokker Trimotor with an advertising text on the side of the fuselage for cigarettes. P. Lorillard introduces Old Gold cigarettes. The firm is well known for its Murad cigarettes and their slogan, "Be nonchalant light a Murad"; Old Golds will gain popularity with the slogan, "Not a cough in a carload"

I wonder if this is US c/n 603 reg as 3080? Looks like 3060 but since that one was no Fokker 3080 is my second best Stig PS: I refrain from making any comment about the ad, but since I am a non-smoker.....

Looking at the largest scan available I see '3080' on the tail which makes it a Fokker F.VIIa-3m (c/n 603). The machines crashed on 18 February 1929.
