  We could do with a drop-cloth like that this year. Easily the highest levels of needle shedding we've had in recent years. Those ceramic(?) heads on the drop-cloth scare me more than the candles to be honest :) We know the Dillons were well-traveled - do we think the images behind were collected or otherwise represent some of those travels?

  Merry Christmas! I love how it has central place in the room. And the cloth under it was so sensible. As kids we still had crackers on our tree. I love the wee interior details here with the rod picture rail and the curtain pelmet rail to the left (oh the joy of changing fashions and that pelmets have long gone!)
