Suck Diesel That's a good history; at about 1:02 it shows a Lawrence (Eblana) photo of the dedication (?) in 1903 - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000561962 Mr French / Lawrence was there earlier - the grotto mural is incomplete and there is a wooden criss-cross fence around it - catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000320103 . So when was the fence replaced? Before the 1916 spire at least ...

The earlier French / Lawrence photo was taken at exactly the same position as this Eason unidentified photographer one.
