This typical aircraft was delivered to the Air Material Command, Kirtland Field, NM, Sep 1946 for Project Chickenpox conversion as a mock-up for the transport, mobile assembly and maintenance of atomic weapons. To Eglin Field for cold weather tests. Assigned to 1st Strategic Support Unit, SAC, Kirtland Field, NM as a GIA and mock-up vehicle
