Although this is clearly titled " Perry's Lookdown Blackheath" it is not. It is the Jamison Valley with Narrow Neck in the background, taken from a yet to be identified site on the Prince Henry Cliff walk looking west.

Grose Valley, Blackheath, Blue Mountains, NSW

  • Philip Hammon said:
This is NOT the Grose Valley but is taken from the top of Katoomba Falls, with Orphan Rock on the right and the Miners Village of the Katoomba Coal Mine visible in the lower background.
  • Philip Hammon said:
The mate to this seemingly taken on the same day, is an amazing photo, when you crank right into the miners village you can see the miners huts, the two storey accommodation building and even the coal skips standing on the platform at the bottom of the incline.
