Foster Tannery Employees, Keene, New Hampshire

  • Beechworth1 said:
Frank Foster would be the son of Francis Foster who had the tannery until his death in 1877. Frank the son, took it over for sometime until he decided farming was his lot. Francis was the father of my great-grandmother Martha Foster who married Hiram Crawford formerly of Oakham Mass but at time of marriage from Australia. Martha died in 1911 in Victoria Australia.

Unknown House in Keene New Hampshire

  • Sharen Auger-Rizy said:
7/3/18. I concur that this is the house at the corner of Beaver and North Lincoln Streets. Whether its address is 54 North Lincoln or 222 Beaver I don't know. If you go to the last street view capture, you will see that the house which appears to the left in the historical photo is the same house that appears either behind or to the left in street view.
