  B-58A-10-CF, s/n 59-2456. Assigned to 6512th Test Squadron, Air Force Systems Command (AFSC), Edwards AFB, CA for sonic boom studies 1961-1962. Set a 26,017.93 meter altitude record while carrying a 5,000kg payload. To 43rd BW Carswell AFB, TX. To Little Rock AFB, AR. To MASDC 1969. Scrapped 1977.

  The ill-fated crew of Convair B-58A Hustler (USAF Ser. 59-2451) named "Firefly" - Lieutenant David F. Dickerson, Major Elmer E. Murphy, and Major Eugene Moses.
