    This piece is the Coatlicue, another of the wonderful sculptures found buried in the center of Mexico City. This photo is when it was exhibited in the Museum of History in the street of Moneda. Today it is part of the Mexica room of the National Museum of Anthropology and History in Chapultepec.

    This is the so-called sun stone or Aztec calendar. It was long recess next to the Cathedral of Mexico, during the 19th century. They were then transferred to the first Museum of History in Moneda Street and finally in the twentieth century to the National Museum of Anthropology in History in Chapultepec.
