    As a member of the "original" Gibbs family, I am proud to say I have one of these beautiful pieces of farming history in my home. No only is it what they used to refer to as a "plow of legend", but it makes one hell of a coffee table, albeit somewhat difficult to balance items on.

    The thrasher is a Ransomes Simmes & Jeferies 36'drum (LAL36 ) and the baler is Jones I used to own a set like this which now belonges to the A.V.E.S. My grandfather .father and two uncles worked these machines their thrasher dated back to 1944 and came by rail to Penygroes Station Gwynedd from Lincon and belonged to the War Agg.before it was bought they did travel long distances with them father told me the covered farms from Aberdaron to Aber the other side of Bangor.
