We received an email from a granddaughter and daughter of one of the band-members, Leonard Orison Kane, second seated row, 5th from the left, holding a saxophone. "He worked for the Lethbridge Herald as a Pressman, at the time when Senator Buchanan owned this business. L.O. Kane worked at the Herald from about 1910-1911 until his early death in 1931."

An excellent and evocative group of pictures. But unless you want to identify locations, why are they posted in this group without any explanation, or clues, except for those that have been identified in their titles?.

Hmmm, a good question. The album description itself includes the explanation but is not easy to spot. Will include explanation with each photo. Stay tuned.
