This is the sole XPB2Y Bu 0453 when it was used as the Navy Pacific transport 'Blue Goose' (1941-1943?) for VIPs such as Admirals Nimitz and Halsey (but a newer PB2Y took Nimitz to Tokyo Bay for the Japanese Surrender in 1945)

A30yoyo Badge could be, but no other info came with it, including donor info.....visitor book certainly did come from the Blue Goose

Thanks for the new photo-size....all the crew could be ID 'd from that.....I'm looking into the possibility that the original BLUE GOOSE Bu 0453 was replaced by a newer PB2Y Bu 7215 about 1944 which the typewtitten list in the album supports
