Initially meant to be a very fast point defense interceptor, it was tested with a number of Allison jet engines until retired in Oct. '53. Data from these flights lived on in the Convair Interceptors (Delta Dagger & Dart). Now preserved in the R&D Gallery at the NMUSAF in Dayton, OH.
