They built about 130 of these but they were little used in combat AFAIK...the stalling speed is recorded at 79mph (19 mph above spec!) which is scarily high for a glider... by comparison the engineless glider version of the C-47 (XCG-17) is supposed to have had a stalling speed of 35mph . A CG-13 was displayed in the big Eiffel Tower USAAF Exhibition of August 1945 pei.parisiennedephotographie.fr/SSPI/volumes/PEIF5/b69d67...
