    The Dutch version says "De foto is verspreid in november 1958, 40 jaar na de wapenstilstand", "This photo was spread in November 1958, 40 years after the armistice". I guess that explains the 40 years ago in the description.

    This well known photo depicts British soldiers in a captured German trench. One can tell that because the fire-step and parados are on the left while the sentry is posted on the back of the trench on the right.
