Appropriately for a Scottish site: 759, D17, "Dinnaken", OIC Lt Hastie which was knocked out on 15th Sept 1916 (the first day tanks were used) whilst returning from it's famous successful attack along Flers High Street. "Dinnaken" served as an infantry HQ for several weeks. The tank was eventually recovered and converted to a radio tank which tried to come into operation on 31st July 1917 the first day of the third Battle of Ypres. IWM Q 11145 Taken on 10th August 1918 during King George V visit to Sautrecourt, France. The link above takes you to the Museums Website where the image can be zoomed. On the zoomed image the Crew Number on the male tank is visible, it appears to be "B9" The nose of a third tank is also visible behind the male tank. 9360, OIC 2Lt Lockwood was Hit and burnt out on 2 Sep 1918 whilst in action with 14th tank battalion.
